I haven’t been posting on my blog lately because I recently relocated from Memphis, my hometown, to Washington DC. With that being said, my time has been consumed with tons of other responsibilities that come along with relocating. Now that many of those responsibilities are taken care of I can get back to blogging.
Back in the summer of 2009 I had an internship with Voice of America where I created bumpers and animations in Adobe After Effects for the international network. While I was living in DC for the summer I fell in love with the city. Now that I’m here I can relax and enjoy the pleasures and opportunities that DC has to offer.
In addition to my passion for digital art I’m also passionate regarding other forms of art. Yesterday, I was editing a few photos in Starbuck’s and I flipped to one of my paintings in my old sketchbook. The painting is a self portrait that I created for a artist case study. The piece is a mixture of acrylic paint and spray paint.
Lately, I’ve had a few great photo shoots come my way and as always, I’ve enjoy each and every one of them. Take a look at them and let me know what you think.
