Changing one life at a time

As some of you know, I’m a videographer and I use this talent that I was blessed with to bless others. Recently, I held a videography work shop for kids  at Douglas Elementary through Blues City Cultural Center, a non profit performing arts company located in Memphis Tn. This gave me the opportunity to work closely with young people. Not only did I teach them something, but they taught me a thing or two.  At the end of the two week work shop, every student gave a brief summery of the material they learned. To my surprise, they grasped the majority of the material I taught them.  According to the different forms of media today, often times inner city youth engage in violence and disorderly behavior; however, I’ve noticed that if a person takes the time out to inspire these same young people with something they enjoy, that person may very well change a life forever.
